Stone information: Chalcedony is composed of thick layers of microscopic quartz fibers and has been used for centuries as a carving material. Chalcedony can assume a wide range of colors and may be semitransparent or translucent. It is said to be a nurturing stone that promotes good will and absorbs and dissipates negative thoughts, emotions and bad dreams.
This collection is named after Water Street in Vancouver, British Columbia. Water Street is in the Gastown area and is named for its proximity to the water. The street is popular amongst tourists and its most famous landmark is the steam clock.
