The Sophia is gold-filled and features a large semi-precious black onyx stone in a vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) bezel. The necklace is 32" long.
Stone Information: Onyx is a variety of chalcedony which forms through deposition when silica-rich waters at low temperatures percolate through crack and fissures in rocks. Onyx is said to banish grief, enhance self-control, promote wise decision making, and encourage happiness and good fortune.
This collection is named after Sophia Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.
